Bringing an E30 Cabrio Back to Life – Hitesh’s BMW Gets the Delta Park Auto Treatment
When Hitesh (@htanda) brought his classic BMW E30 Cabriolet to Delta Park Auto, it wasn’t just for a touch-up — it was for a full performance and reliability overhaul before the long drive back to New York. With clean MTech styling and a tasteful vision, we helped him dial in everything from suspension and wheels to drivability upgrades. Here’s what went down.
Performance & Suspension Upgrades
One of the biggest highlights of this build was the CAtuned fully adjustable coilover suspension system. Supplied by Delta Park Auto and welded in-house, we reinforced and modified Hitesh’s original front spindles to work with the setup, then finished everything off with fresh paint. The result? A perfect blend of stance, ride quality, and adjustability.

We also installed:
- New front wheel bearings (also sourced from Delta Park Auto)
- A Red46 Skid Plate to protect the M20 oil pan from road debris — a must for lowered E30s

Steering & Drivability Repairs
To get the cabrio driving smooth again, we tackled several wear-and-tear items:
- Replaced passenger-side control arm with ball joints
- Installed new tie rod ends on both sides
- Changed accessory and power steering belts
- Inspected and replaced the IAC (idle air control) valve
- Replaced a deteriorated exhaust hanger
We also checked and serviced the braking system to ensure everything was safe and road-ready for the long haul.
Wheels, Fitment & Final Prep
Hitesh wanted that classic, period-correct look — and there’s nothing more iconic than BBS RS wheels on an E30. We helped spec out his custom BBS setup, test fit the wheels in-house, ordered the correct tires, and dialed in the ride height for a functional and stylish fitment.
